Kidspace
Children's Museum in Pasadena, California,
boasts an Outdoor Learning Environment that stretches
2.2 acres. "InterpretiveArroyo," a miniature
recreation of Pasadena's most famous geographical
feature, invites children to play in its steam and
learn how an infrequent raincan turn a dry riverbed
into a torrent. The museum is a 2008
MetLife Foundation and ACM Promising Practice Award
recipient.
