Encouraging young visitors to discover the
interconnectedness of the world and how they fit into it.

Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena, California, boasts an Outdoor Learning Environment that stretches 2.2 acres. "InterpretiveArroyo," a miniature recreation of Pasadena's most famous geographical feature, invites children to play in its steam and learn how an infrequent raincan turn a dry riverbed into a torrent. The museum is a 2008 MetLife Foundation and ACM Promising Practice Award recipient.
