Promising Practice: Incorporate museum inquiry learning into afterschool programs efficiently.

Children from a South Boston afterschool program build mini roller coasters while learning about teamwork and engineering principles thanks to Boston Children's Museum's KIDS @fterschool program. This 2009 Promising Practice Award-winning program provides educator training and more than 150 quality, afterschool curriculum ideas that can be downloaded free of charge. KIDS@fterschool is used in all 50 U.S. states and in 15 countries around the world.
