Did you know children's museums are one of the fastest growing fields in the cultural sector?
And you're leading the growth! This is why we often describe individuals working for a start-up children's museum effort as Emerging Museum Leaders. As you and your dedicated team pave the way to opening day, ACM is there to help. Your ACM Membership entitles you to several benefits, many of which can be accessed from this Web site.
Here are a few tips and features about the site.

Members Only Content: You will be prompted to logon as a member if you try to access a Members Only page. It's best to logon to the site at the beginning of your site visit. Search Function: It really works! So if you're looking for specific content, type in a keyword in the Search field, found under the Logon link.

Data & Resources Tab: This area includes six buckets of information, including a link to a Children's Museum Data section, where you find the the Open Museum Directory, Query Report Service and Metrics Reports.

Professional Development Tab: This area is where you'll find information about the InterActivity Conference. You'll also find links to learn about ACM Publications and Toolkits. The Collective Vision Toolkit is an especially great resource for start-up museums. Be sure you've logged on as a Member to access all the content.

Find a Children's Museum Function: This search option is on every page of the public site. If your start-up museum has established its 501(c)3 status and has a established a Web site or Facebook page, please be sure ACM has your URL address so that we can feature you on the site.
