Museum Staff Members

Good News: If your museum is an organizational member of ACM, you can take advantage of all the member benefits, regardless if you are full-time or part-time staff members.

The new ACM Web site is currently in soft-launch mode, meaning that content is still being added and we're ironing out a few kinks. However, there is much to explore on the new site.

Here are a few tips and features about the site.

  • Members Only Content: Unlike the old site, you will be prompted to logon as a member if you try to access a Members Only page. It's best to logon at the beginning of your site visit. The Member LogOn link is in the upper right hand corner of the site. Don't have a Member LogOn or forgotten your username and password? • Search Function: It really works! So if you're looking for specific content, type in a keyword in the Search field, found under the Logon link.

  • Data & Resources Tab: This area includes six buckets of information, including a link to search the Classified Listings for Museum Jobs and Exhibits for Rent. You will also find the Products & Services Directory, which lists ACM Corporate Members and Affinity Partners. From the Children's Museum Data section will find the the Open Museum Directory, Query Report Service and Metrics Reports.

  • Professional Development Tab: This area is where you'll find information about the InterActivity Conference. Use the left side bar to open up related conference links, such as the awards and scholarship applications.

  • Find a Children's Museum Function: This search option is on every page of the public site. If you find an error in your museum listing, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Thanks for your patience as we prepare to officially launch the new ACM Web site!
