Program Description: The InterActivity 2011 Texas Scholarship will underwrite conference registration and tickets to three evening events for four (4) individuals employed at children's museums in Texas that have an annual operating budget under $500,000. The intent of the program is to cultivate staff members at small museums in Texas for long-term careers in the children's museum field. Travel to InterActivity and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the selected recipient.

Applicant Eligibility: All applicants are expected to meet the following eligibility requirements.

Employed at an open ACM member children's museum in the state of Texas that has an annual operating budget under $500,000.
Employed for at least one year at the ACM member children's museum.
Applicant is committed to a career in the children's museum field.

Additional Considerations: Applications will be reviewed based on the complete, accurate information submitted by the applicant. Applicants and applicant supervisors should clearly understand and endorse scholarship benefits and responsibilities.

Application Process: Applicants must complete the online application in one sitting; ACM recommends that applicants prepare their answers for the essay questions ahead of time. ACM will send a confirmation email once your application has been submitted.

	It is ACM's goal to notify selected applicants as soon as possible to allow them adequate time to make full arrangements to attend InterActivity. Therefore, it is essential that each applicant confirm that if selected to receive an InterActivity scholarship, there are no other financial barriers that would prohibit him/her from attending the full InterActivity conference (May 19-21, 2011).
