ACM members

museums to use benchmarks to help
make difficult decisions or explain decisions to staff and boards.
All data is complied through ACM membership surveys.

Museum Online Directory
The Online Directory, available in the ACM
Members Only Web site is a free member service
that profiles ACM open museum
members. Profiles include contact information, finances, programs
and much more. The profile data was collected through the
2008 Membership Survey.

Data Collected and Published by ACM, 2008
Based primarily on data reported fall 2007 by
232 ACM member museums, the complete 102-page report includes charts
and
graphs and a comprehensive table of data. Tony Casilio, Founder
of AWP Research, provided metric analysis for this publication.
The 2008 Children's Museums Metrics Reports are available as online
publications only. Report sections are available to download
as PDFs from the ACM
Members Only Web site. The Reports are free for
ACM members and available to nonmembers for $150.

Query Report Service
ACM staff can generate a report of raw data from
the ACM Query Database when you need information on a very specific
set of
perimeters. Requests for a Query Report are submitted online from
the ACM
Members Only Web site and are delivered via email
as Excel spreadsheets. Query Reports do not provide data analysis.
Most query reports are completed within five business days,
although requests with multiple queries may take longer to complete.
